Cloudflare Pages is Cloudflare's Jamstack deployment platform, offering Git-connected deployments with global distribution across Cloudflare's 300+ edge locations — one of the most geographically distributed hosting networks available. Built on the same infrastructure as Cloudflare's core CDN and Workers platform, Pages sites benefit from Cloudflare's network performance, DDoS protection, and Workers for server-side logic at the edge. It competes directly with Vercel and Netlify for Next.js, Astro, and other framework deployments. Sites on Cloudflare Pages are identifiable through the cf-ray header present on every response (a unique Cloudflare request identifier), server: cloudflare in HTTP headers, and *.pages.dev subdomains for preview deployments. The cf-cache-status response header indicates Cloudflare edge caching behavior. Cloudflare Pages is free for unlimited personal projects with no bandwidth limits.
